  1. Kid’s Asthma Not Linked to Maternal SSRIs in Pregnancy. Children whose depressed mothers took newer antidepressants while pregnant were not at increased risk of childhood asthma.
  2. Menopausal HT Not Tied to Greater Death Risk. Hormone therapy in postmenopausal women was not linked to a significant effect on all-cause mortality, cardiovascular death, or breast cancer death.
  3. In Cancer Wars, It’s Doctors vs. Hospitals. Colliding federal policies are fomenting a nasty money war that’s pitting community oncologists trying to treat patients in less expensive clinic settings against hospitals trying to woo patients in through costlier emergency departments.
  4. Only Long-Term NSAIDs Improve OA Stiffness, Function. Long-term use of prescription nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) by patients with knee osteoarthritis (OA) is associated with clinically important but not statistically significant improvement in patient-reported stiffness and function and joint-space width.
