Their success is not a series of grand gestures. It is the cumulative effect of small, disciplined decisions repeated day after day.
Excellence erodes before it collapses
Most physicians do not suddenly “burn out.” What happens first is subtler.
Clarity starts to fade. Days feel reactive. Decisions take more effort than they used to. You are still competent, still caring, but everything feels heavier. The work has not changed, but you have less margin for error.

The future of medicine will belong to system builders
Medicine does not need more heroes.
