A nursing aide is convicted of sucking medication from a patient’s pain patch. “According to the attorney general’s office, Oglesbee was working as a nursing assistant at Moran Manor Nursing Home in Westernport on Oct. 15, 2004. A patient in her care had been prescribed a 72-hour transdermal pain patch. The day after the patch was applied, Oglesbee removed it, stuck a pin in the patch and sucked out the medication, authorities said.” (via FARK.com)
