To no one’s surprise, the support for “socialized medicine” is split right down party lines.
Nationwide, the numbers slightly favor support: “45 percent of respondents said they believed such a system would be better for the country, while 39 percent said it would be worse.”
This is hardly a significant majority, and does not warrant blowing up our current system to satisfy the 45 percent of people who believe in single-payer/Medicare for all radical reform.
