Here is one question I get a lot: “How often should doctors blog?”

Well, it could be once a week, once a month, once every two weeks; there is no set number. But it should be a number that you have to stick with for at least six months.

Too often, I hear doctors who are really excited at first about composing blogs or creating videos on YouTube, and they will do a post every day for a week. It takes a lot of time and energy to compose a great blog post. When they post a blog and no one reads it, they get burned out within a few weeks.

So, how often should doctors blog? It should be a number that you have to stick with for at least six months.
