Mogeshni Govender is a rheumatology advanced trainee with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP), with a background in hematology and internal medicine. Govender holds a Bachelor of Medical Sciences and a Doctor of Medicine.
Clinical and research interests center on hypermobility and its associated conditions, and on the connective tissue diseases. Alongside training, Govender writes about medicine, advocates for patients, and works toward a better health care system.
Govender's writing has appeared in InSight+, the news and opinion publication of the Medical Journal of Australia, including essays on the advantages of working regionally and the healing power of art for doctors and their patients.
