Doctors gone wild:
Former Board of Health member Dr. Jeffrey Hersh was reprimanded and fined $2,500 yesterday by the state medical board for threatening a fellow doctor in a Worcester emergency room.
Hersh was on duty Oct. 21, 2004, at St. Vincent’s Hospital when he argued with another ER doctor over who was providing care to a patient, according to the Board of Registration in Medicine.
Hersh got close to the emergency department physician and in a loud voice said, “If you diss me again I will rip you to shreds,” the board wrote.
You go gangsta doc.
